Job Description:
This will be a field posting with stints in Head office as and when required. Responsibilities: - Ensure safe production from wells under his charge by proper well integrity surveillance. Detection of well anomalies to ensure safe production from wells. Wells under charge of the Production Engineer will include high pressure gas wells. - Coordinate and supervise routine wellhead Production operations and ensure health of all wells under his charge/ - Optimise wells on natural flow and artificial lift ensuring to maximize field production while sustaining reservoir in good health. - Responsible for well data gathering, monitoring and regular reporting to management. - Should be capable of planning, coordinating?and executing regular well intervention programs for water shut off, cement squeeze etc. - Identification of well bore damage and issues arising from wax & asphaltene deposition and?remediation procedures. Experience in preventative treatment for corrosion, scale, wax, asphaltenes, hydrates is desirable. - Supervise well testing & metering, coordinate Bottom Hole studies. Experience with Multi Phase flow meter testing is desirable. Skills/Experience - Experience in designing and operation of Artificial Lift systems- especially Gas Lift system. - Should have knowledge of optimal maintenance of surface networks of production and injection systems. - Should be capable of well performance analysis, diagnose potential problems and supports the Subsurface team in the design of remedial and intervention programmes - Awareness of production/separation facilities will be beneficial as routine liaison with the Asset separation/injection and compression facilities is essential for optimal and safe production from wells - Should be capable of providing inputs on production optimisation, well integrity, well modelling, flow assurance and artificial lift. - Experience and proficiency with Nodal Analysis using Prosper/GAP?and Decline curve analysis is required - Awareness/ exposure to drilling operations will be added benefit as it will be necessary to work closely with Drilling, Reservoir, Operations and SubSurface teams while planning and executing intervention programs. - Should be capable of clearly communicating technical information to management and vendors. - Should have flair for reviewing and implementing new technologies for improving well performance. - Knowledge of Reservoir Engineering and Geosciences is beneficial. - Experience in preventative treatment for corrosion, scale, wax, asphaltenes, hydrates is desirable. - Supervise well testing & metering, coordinate Bottom Hole studies. Job Description The hiring entity for this position is Pacific Drilling’s Nigerian affiliate, Pacific International Drilling West Africa Limited. Position Summary The materials coordinator is directly responsible for the warehouse and storage locations associated to the warehouse under management Main operations are coordinating the rig’s materials requisitions, organizing and controlling the warehouse, and maintaining the warehouse inventory levels within established guidelines. Materials coordinator should ensure all warehouse operations are carried out in a safe and prudent manner. Qualifications and Experience Two or more years of rig-based experience in similar positions with drilling contractor or large oil field service company. Exposure to warehouse management applications (prefer SAP Warehouse Management). Basic computer skills. Senior School certificate (SSCE)/ West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)/ GCE O/L, OND in Nigeria is equivalent of 2 years associate degree in U.S., while HND or BSc is for 4 years (with at least 120 credits/units) Nigerian In Country – resident Fluent English communication skills (both oral and written) Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Secure the warehouse at all times and restrict access to non-authorized personnel. Receive materials into the warehouse stock and issue parts to departments as needed. Liaise with department heads in the preparation of materials requisitions for all parts and equipment – Focus on planning to minimize urgent orders – Forward approved requisitions. Maintain accurate records of received and outstanding requisitions, and cargo manifests. Maintain adequate stock levels of equipment spares and consumables so as to facilitate the continuous operation of the unit. Prepare periodic reports for the OIM, Rig manager and shore-based Materials Supervisor as required. Perform inventory cycle count and maintain the physical inventory in the warehouse. Review regularly obsolete and surplus parts and advise Rig Supervisors for follow up. Utilize the PSC IS to maintain an accurate inventory of all materials stored on the rig. Prepare manifest for all equipment dispatched from the rig either by sea or air. Check for discrepancies in materials received against delivery notes and outward manifest. Issue Procurement Incident Report for incorrect items. Assist department heads in establishing a realistic minimum/maximum warehouse stock of all shut down or critical items. Provides Fixed Asset Register information to department heads. Ensure all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes are correctly labeled and packaged prior to shipment ashore. Review requested freight methods with department heads to minimize unnecessary excessive freight costs. Pro-active approach, improving description of parts and making efforts to simplify processes. Mentor, develop and train crew members to ensure familiarity with PSC processes. Promote and maintain an effective working relationship and communication with other departments, shore base materials department, third party personnel and Client representatives.
